E-mail Setup for New Accounts

To setup a new e-mail account you need to log in to the CPanel and click on Mail Menu -> Add/Remove Accounts -> Add Account.

Enter the mailbox name, mailbox password, and mailbox quota.

The mailbox is created.

(The next step is the most important.)

To connect to the new mailbox that you created, enter the mailbox name followed by the @ symbol, and trailed by your domain name (example@yourdomain.com).

Here is an example:
1. Your domain name is: yourdomain.com
2. Your new webmail login is: example@yourdomain.com (the full mailbox name and domain is required to login.)

Setting Up SpamAssassin

To setup SpamAssassin you need to log in to the CPanel and click on Mail Menu -> SpamAssassin. Next, click Enable SpamAssassin.

If you want SpamAssassin to rewrite the Subject in the e-mails that are identified as spam then click on Configure SpamAssassin (required to rewrite subjects). Enter your own subject or use **SPAM** as the default and click save at the bottom of the screen. This way webmail or your e-mail client can filter your incoming e-mails by subject (requires you to setup your own filter).

Transfering Your Domain

If you are transfering your existing site to our servers, please take into account that there will be a 24 to 48-hour delay before your domain can be accessed. This is due to the time it takes for global routers to update the new location of your domain.

If your domain is registered with a registrar other than FullServe Hosting, you will need to contact your registrar, or where you registered your domain, to change your DNS settings to point to our servers.

Uploading Your Site With FTP

Your FTP address is ftp.yourdomain.com. Use the same username and password that you use for your CPanel account. You can use several different FTP programs to connect to the FTP server. The most popular programs are FTP Commander, CuteFTP, and WS-FTP.

Webmail Login Information

You can access your webmail through your CPanel Login or at http://yourdomain.com/webmail. Remember to log in with your full e-mail address (example@mydomain.com).

You will have a choice of three different webmail programs. To make it easier, try to use the same one each time. Horde is our most popular webmail program, but feel free to use any of the ones we offer.
